Emerging fields of nanotechnology include chemistry, medicine, food production, electronics, manufacturing, egineering, renewable energy and energy storage. Compared to conventional products, nanotech products will be smaller, cheaper, lighter, more functional, and require far less energy and raw materials to manufacture.
